 Departments / Sections

Completion of manufacturing processes in-house means that no compromise is made on any criteria of the instrument. Following are some of the processes that are completed within the manufacturing plant in different departments or sections.

Forging
ForgingThe company has its own forging section where Forgings are made through Drop Hammer process by seasoned operators using Dyes made of the best-quality D-2 Steel since imported. The forgings later are put through the process of overall / ring trimming, and acid cleaning / pickling by those well versed in these processes.

Milling/Machining
Our Milling / Machining section have about 29 Milling / Lathe / Drill / Broaching / Grinding Machines which are manned by the exceptionally well-trained experts for good milling of the ratchets, serration teeth, box cutting, and for all other related processes for ensuring exact perfection before filing. For this, top-quality imported cutters are used. The process of filing is carried out again by the trained professionals to ensure high standard of exactitude and precision.

Heat Treatment
We have our own Heat Treatment Department equipped with top-quality Vacuum Furnace imported from England, where qualified staff trained by the English Suppliers are engaged to give treatment to instruments for furtherance of quality.

Uses of heat treatment

1. Development of structure by metallurgical changes.
2. Reduces oxidation of carbon contents in stainless steel during manufacturing process
3.Helps to overcome problems like warping, cracking and coarse grain.

Hardening
It implies the hardening of a ferrous alloy by austenitizing and then cooling rapidly enough so that some or all of the austenite transforms to martensite.

Tempering

1. Tempering involves reheating the quench hardened ferrous alloy to a temperature below 650C and then cooling at any rate desired,
2. The martensitic structure of a quenched hardened casting is modified to ferrite with precipitated carbides by tempering treatment.

Electro-Polishing & Grinding
The Electro-Polishing and the Grinding Departments are also manned by seasoned workmen using the imported chemicals and the grinding wheels to ensure the best-quality finish.

Tungsten Carbide
Our T.C Department is installed with the best-quality imported machinery being manned by the exceptionally well-trained experts using the German Technology, and the T.C Tips and the soldering material imported from Germany and England to ensure matchless quality and precision.

Gold Plating
Our Gold-plating Department is manned by the highly trained technicians, and is equipped with the latest machinery where excellent quality (German) gold material is used for our instruments.

Passivation
Using the top-quality imported chemical in our Passivation Department we passivate and boil test each and every instrument before packing, subjecting every piece to 24-hour treatment, and if need to be re-passivation process so as to eliminate any chances of rusting / Corrosion etc. Our Instruments are rust-free for life though we give guarantee for three years.

Sandblasting
For sandblasting our instruments, we use the machines as well as the sandblasting material imported from England, which are manned by operators well trained by the English experts.

Stamping/Etching
The Stamping / Etching process is carried out by the soundly trained experts to match the world standards.
